Our work in hydrometeorology
At the Ethiopian Meteorological Institute, we are dedicated to providing accurate and timely hydrological information to support water resource management, disaster preparedness, and sustainable development in Ethiopia. The Hydro-meteorological bulletin is prepared and disseminated by our team, to provide the water and energy sectors and related disciplines with the current weather situation and its relation to dams and reservoirs and behavioral practices over main and sub- river catchments. The information contained in the bulletin is believed to assist planners, decision makers and the users at large, in minimizing risks and maximizing the efficiency of water and energy by making more realistic assessment of the annual and seasonal water resources in advance. Explore our hydrological products to access valuable data and insights for informed decision-making.
