Yesterday, there was cloud cover over the western, northern, northwestern, northeastern, eastern, central, and southwestern parts of the country. In connection with this, Addis Ababa, Harar, and the zones of Jimma, Ilubabor, Horo Guduru, West and East Wollega, North, East, Southwest, and West Shewa, East and West Harerge, West Arsi, Bale and East Bale, Hawassa, Metekel, North, South, and Central Gondar, Awi zone, Wag Hemra, West and East Gojjam, North and South Wollo, Oromia Special zone, North Shewa, Gurage, Central and East Tigray received light to moderate rainfall. Heavy rainfall was recorded in Bilambilo 52.6, Jimma 50.7, Haro 50.0, Debark 37.4, Kulubi 37.4, Sekota 35.8, Debre Tabor 34.5, Korem 34.5, Agarffa 32.6, Chira 31.8, Robit 31.4, Kachis 31.0, Hirna 30.2, and Gundoberet 30.0 mm. On the other hand, maximum daily temperatures ranging from 36.6°C to 40.4°C were recorded in Semera, Gewane, Awash Arba, and Kebridahar.

Additionally, Central, Northwest, and East Tigray; North, South, and Central Gondar; West and East Gojjam; Jimma; East Wollega; Horo Guduru Wollega; Southwest, East, North, and West Shewa; Addis Ababa; and West Arsi will receive heavy rainfall exceeding 30 mm within 24 hours. On the other hand, maximum daily temperatures ranging from 35°C to 40°C will be recorded in Semera, Elidar, Fugnido, Abobo, Melka Jebdu, Mehoni, Dire Dawa, Aysha, Metema, Dalifage, Awash Arba, Gode, and Kebridehar.
