በትናንትናው ዕለት የበልግ ዝናብ ተጠቃሚ በሆኑት እንዲሁም በምዕራብ እና በሰሜን ምዕራብ የሀገራችን አካባቢዎች ላይ የደመና ሽፋን ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁም ጋር ተያይዞ በጅማ፣ ኢሉባቦር፣ ቡኖ በደሌ፣ ሆሮ ጉዱሩ፣ ቄለም፣ ምስራቅና ምዕራብ ወለጋ፣ ምስራቅ ባሌ፣ አሶሳ፣ ወላይታ፣ ጋሞ፣ ሸካ፣ ምዕራብ ኦሞ፣ ሐረር፣ ምዕራብ ጎንደር፣ አኝዋክ እና ቡርጂ ዞኖች ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ተመዝግቧል፡፡ በሌላ በኩል በመልካ ጀብዱ፣ አዲስ ዘመን፣ ማይሀንሳ፣ መሆኒ፣ ድሬዳዋ፣ ጋምቤላ፣ ጨፋ፣ መተማ እና ቀብሪደሃር የቀኑ ከፍተኛ የሙቀት መጠን ከ35.6-39.0°C ሆኖ ተመዝግቧል፡፡

Yesterday there was light rain in some areas, and cloudy skies were observed over the western and northwestern parts of the country. In addition, light to moderate rainfall was recorded in the zones of Jimma, Ilubabor, Buno Bedelle, Horo Guduru, Kellem, West and East Wollega, East Bale, Asosa, Walayita, Gamo, Sheka, West Omo, Harar, West Gondar, Agnuak and Burji. On the other hand, the daily maximum temperatures in Melka Jebdu, Addis Zemen, Mayhanssa, Mehoni, Dire Dawa, Gambella, Cheffa, Metema and Kebridahar ranged from 35.6°C to 39.0°C.

Tomorrow, areas that benefit from the Belg season rains, as well as the western and northwestern parts of our country, will experience cloud cover. In association with this, many places within the following areas will receive light to moderate (1–29 mm) rainfall: From the zones of Oromia: Guji and West Guji, Borena and East Borena, Bale and East Bale, Arsi and West Arsi, Jimma, Ilu Aba Bora, Buno Bedelle, Horo Guduru, Kellem, East and West Wollega, South West and West Shewa, and East and West Hararghe; Harari; in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Region: Wolayita, Gamo, Gofa, Basketo, Gedeo, Alaba, Kore, Gardula, Burji, South Omo and Konso zones; in all zones of the Sidama region; in the Somali region: Dawa, Liben, Nogob, Afder, Fafan, Korahe, Dolo, Shebelle, Jarar and Erer zones; in the Central Ethiopia region: Gurage, Silte, the Yeem special zone, Hadiya, Halaba, Kembata and Tambaro zones; in the Southwest Ethiopia region: Keffa, Sheka, Bench Sheko, Konta, Dawuro and West Omo zones; in Gambella region: Agnuak, Nuer, Majang and Itang zones; in Benishangul-Gumuz: Assosa, Metekel, Kamashi and Mao Komo zones; and in Amhara: West and East Gojjam, Awi zone, North, West, Central and South Gondar zones. Many of these areas will receive light to moderate rainfall amounts ranging from 1 to 29 mm. Such rainfall amounts and distribution will be of great benefit for carrying out rain-fed agricultural activities. Meanwhile, very high daytime temperatures between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius are forecast in Semera, Melka Jebdu, Addis Zemen, Mayhanssa, Mehoni, Dire Dawa, Aysha, Metema, Dallifage, Awash Arba, Gode and Kebridahar.
