በትናንትናው ዕለት የበልግ ዝናብ ተጠቃሚ በሆኑት እንዲሁም በምዕራብ እና በሰሜን ምዕራብ የሀገራችን አካባቢዎች ላይ የደመና ሽፋን ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁም ጋር ተያይዞ በቦረናና ምስራቅ ቦረና፣ ባሌ፣ ጅማ፣ ምዕራብ እና ምስራቅ ወለጋ፣ አዲስ አበባ፤ ጉራጌ፣ ሸካ፣ ወላይታ፣ ጋሞ፣ ጌዴኦ፣ ሸበሌ፣ የምዕራብና ምስራቅ ጎጃም፣ አዊ ዞን፣ ምዕራብ፣ ሰሜን፣ ማዕከላለዊ እና ደቡብ ጎንደር፣ ሰሜንና ደቡብ ወሎ፣ ደቡብ ምስራቅና ማዕከላዊ ትግራይ ዞኖች ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ያገኙ ሲሆን፤ በሐዋሳ፣ ዳንግላ፣ ዲሬ ሼከና ሁሴን፣ ወላይታ ሶዶ፣ አርባ ምንጭ፣ ቡሌ ሆራ፣ አጋሮ፣ ነቀምቴ፣ ዴዴሳ፣ ሀሮ፣ መሆኒ፣ ሜረሳ፣ ጊዶሌ፣ ጎዴ፣ ኮምቦልቻ እና ዌጊዲ ከ30.9-81.9 ሚሜ ከባድ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ አግኝተዋል፡፡ በሌላ በኩል በሰመራ፣ ማይሀንሳ፣ አዲስ ዘመን፣ ጋምቤላ፣ ፉኝዶ፣ መተማ፣ አዋሽ አርባ፣ አይሻ እና ጎዴ የቀኑ ከፍተኛ የሙቀት መጠን ከ35.0-40.0°C ሆኖ ተመዝግቧል፡፡

Yesterday there was beneficial light rain, and there were cloudy spells over parts of our country in the west and northwest. In addition, heavy rain was recorded in Borena and East Borena, Bale, Jimma, the western and eastern Wollega areas, Addis Ababa, Gurage, Sheka, Welayta, Gamo, Gedeo, Shebelle, western and eastern Gojjam, Awi Zone, western, northern, central and southern Gondar, northern and southern Wollo, and the southern, southeastern and central zones of Tigray, with amounts ranging from light to moderate. Very heavy rainfall of 30.9–81.9 mm was observed in Hawassa, Dangila, Dire Sheka Husen, Walayita Sodo, Arba Minch, Bule Hora, Agaro, Nekemte, Dedessa, Haro, Mehoni, Meresa, Gidolle, Gode, Kombolcha and Wegdi. On the other hand, high daytime temperatures of 35.0–40.0°C were recorded in Semera, Mai Hansa, Addis Zemen, Gambella, Fugnedo, Metema, Awash Arba, Aysha and Gode.

Tomorrow, weather system is expected to move across the country, bringing cloud cover to the Belg-beneficiary areas as well as the western and northwestern. Hence, forecasted for majority of Oromia Guji and western Guji, Borena and eastern Borena, Bale and eastern Bale, western Arsi, Jimma, Illubabor, Buno Bedelle, Horo Guduru, Kelem, eastern and western Wollega, western and eastern Harerge, and the southwestern and western Shewa zones; Harar; from the Southern Ethiopia Region the Wolayta, Gamogofa, Gofa, Basketo, Gedeo, Alaba, Kore, Gardula, Burji, South Omo and Konso zones; all zones of Sidama Region; from Somali Region the Dawa, Nogob, Afder, Fafan, Korahe, Dolo, Jarar and Erer zones; from the Central Ethiopia Region the Gurage, Silt’e, Yem special zone, Hadiya, Halaba, Kembata and Tembaro zones; from the Southwestern Ethiopia Region the Kefa, Sheka, Bench Sheko, Konta, Dawuro and West Omo zones; from Gambela Region the Agnuak, Nuwer, Majang and Itang zones; from Benishangul-Gumuz the Asosa, Metekel, Kamashi and Mao-Komo zones; from Amhara Region the western and eastern Gojjam, Awi zone, west, central and south Gondar zones; and from Tigray Region the northern, central, western and northwestern zones will receive light to moderate rainfall amounts ranging from 1 to 29 mm in many of their locations. In addition, the Jimma, Sheka, Illubabor, Buno Bedelle, Horo Guduru, Kelem and the eastern and western Wollega zones are expected to experience heavy rainfall exceeding 30 mm within 24 hours. Therefore, the amount and distribution of rainfall will be of great benefit for carrying out rainfed agricultural activities. On the other hand, in Semera, Metahara, Pawe, Dire Dawa, Mayhansa, Addis Zemen, Gambella, Funyido, Chewaka, Melka Jebdu, Awash Arba, Sherkole, Metema, Abobo, Kebridahar and Gode, daytime maximum temperatures are expected to be high, ranging from 35 to 40 degrees Celsius.
