በትናንትናው ዕለት የበልግ ዝናብ ተጠቃሚ በሆኑት እንዲሁም በምዕራብ እና በሰሜን ምዕራብ የሀገራችን አካባቢዎች ላይ የደመና ሽፋን ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁም ጋር ተያይዞ በምስራቅ ቦረና፣ ጅማ፣ ኢሉባቦር፣ ቄለም እና ምስራቅ ወለጋ፣ ምስራቅና ምዕራብ ሸዋ እና ምዕራብ ሐረርጌ ዞኖች፤ አዲስ አበባ፤ ሐረር፤ ጉራጌና ምስራቅ ጉራጌ፣ ሀላባ፣ ሸካ፣ ወላይታ፣ ጋሞ፣ ጌዴኦ፣ ደቡብ ኦሞ ፣ አኝዋክ፣ ሐዋሳ፣ ምዕራብና ምስራቅ ጎጃም፣ ደቡብ፣ ሰሜንና ማዕከላዊ ጎንደር እና ደቡብ ወሎ ዞኖች ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ያገኙ ሲሆን፤ በቦሬ እና ቴፒ ከ36.4-76.8 ሚሜ ከባድ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ አግኝተዋል፡፡ በሌላ በኩል በመተሐራ፣ጋምቤላ እና ጎዴ የቀኑ ከፍተኛ የሙቀት መጠን ከ35.0-35.8°C ሆኖ ተመዝግቧል፡፡

The Belg rain-benefiting areas, as well as the western and northwestern parts of the country, experienced cloud cover during the previous day. In line with this, East Borena, Jimma, Illubabor, Kelem and East Wollega, East and West Shewa, and West Hararghe zones; Addis Ababa; Harar; Gurage and East Gurage, Halaba, Sheka, Wolayita, Gamo, Gedeo, South Omo, Agnuak, Hawassa, West and East Gojjam, South, North and Central Gondar, and South Wollo zones received light to moderate rainfall. Furthermore, Bore and Tepi received heavy rainfall ranging from 36.4 to 76.8 mm. On the other hand, the daily maximum temperature ranging between 35.0 and 35.8°C was recorded in Metehara, Gambella, and Gode stations.

በነገው ዕለት የበልግ ዝናብ ተጠቃሚ በሆኑት እንዲሁም በምዕራብ እና በሰሜን ምዕራብ የሀገራችን አካባቢዎች ላይ የደመና ሽፋን ይኖራቸዋል፡፡ ከዚሁም ጋር ተያይዞ ከኦሮሚያ ክልል የጉጂና ምዕራብ ጉጂ፣ ቦረናና ምስራቅ ቦረና፣ ባሌ ፣ ምዕራብ አርሲ፣ ጅማ፣ ኢሉባቦር፣ ቡኖ በደሌ፣ ሆሮ ጉዱሩ፣ ቄለም፣ ምስራቅ እና ምዕራብ ወለጋ እና ምዕራብ ሸዋ ዞኖች፤ ከደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የወላይታ፣ ጋሞ፣ ጎፋ፣ ባስኬቶ፣ ጌዴኦ፣ አሌ፣ ኮሬ፣ ጋርዱላ፣ ቡርጂ፣ ደቡብ ኦሞ እና ኮንሶ ዞኖች፤ በሁሉም የሲዳማ ክልል ዞኖች፤ ከሶማሌ ክልል የዳዋ፣ ሊበን፣ ኖጎብ፣ አፍዴር፣ ቆራሄ፣ ፋፈን፣ ጃራር ፣ ዶሎ እና ሸበሌ ዞኖች፤ ከማዕከላዊ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የየም ልዩ ዞን፣ ሀድያ፣ ከምባታ እና ጠምባሮ ዞኖች፤ ከደቡብ ምዕራብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የከፋ፣ ሸካ፣ ቤንች ሸኮ፣ ኮንታ፣ ዳውሮ እና ምዕራብ ኦሞ ዞኖች፤ ከጋምቤላ ክልል የአኝዋክ፣ ኑዌር፣ ማጃንግ እና ኢታንግ ዞኖች፤ ከቤኒሸንጉል ጉሙዝ የአሶሳ፣ መተከል፣ ካማሽ እና ማኦኮሞ ዞኖች፤ ከአማራ ክልል የምዕራብና ምስራቅ ጎጃም፣ አዊ ዞን፣ ምዕራብ፣ ማዕከላለዊ እና ደቡብ ጎንደር ዞኖች በብዙ ቦታዎቻቸው ላይ ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ (1-29ሚ.ሜ) መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ያገኛሉ፡፡ በተጨማሪም በኢሉባቦር፣ ሸካ እና ማኦኮሞ ዞኖች ላይ በ24 ሰዓት ውስጥ ከ30 ሚ.ሜ በላይ ከባድ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ይኖራቸዋል፡፡ በመሆኑም የሚኖረው የዝናብ መጠንና ስርጭት የበልግ የግብርና ሥራዎችን ለማከናወን ከፍተኛ ጠቀሜታ ይኖረዋል፡፡ በሌላ በኩል በሰመራ፣ መተሐራ፣ ፓዌ፣ ድሬዳዋ፤ ማይሀንሳ፣ አዲስ ዘመን፣ ጋምቤላ፣ ፉኝዶ፣ ጨዋቃ፣ መልካ ጀብዱ፣ አዋሽ አርባ፣ ሸርኮሌ፣ መተማ፣ አቦቦ፣ ቀብሪደሃር እና ጎዴ የቀኑ ከፍተኛ የሙቀት መጠን ከ35 እስከ 40 ዲግሪ ሴልሽየስ ሆኖ ይመዘገባል፡፡

Tomorrow, weather system is expected to move across the country, bringing cloud cover to the Belg-beneficiary areas as well as the western and northwestern. Hence, light to moderate rainfall, measuring between 1mm and 29mm, is forecasted for majority of the Guji and West Guji, Borena and East Borena, Bale, West Arsi, Jimma, Illubabor, Buno Bedele, Horo Guduru, Kellem, East and West Wollega, and West Shewa zones of the Oromia Region; Wolayita, Gamo, Gofa, Basketo, Gedeo, Ale, Kore, Gardula, Burji, South Omo, and Konso zones of the South Ethiopia Region; all zones of the Sidama Region; Dawa, Liben, Nogob, Afder, Korahe, Fafan, Jarar, Dolo, and Shebelle zones of the Somali Region; Yem Special Zone, Hadiya, Kembata, and Tembaro zones of the Central Ethiopia Region; Kaffa, Sheka, Bench Sheko, Konta, Dawuro, and West Omo zones of the Southwest Ethiopia Region; Agnuwak, Nuer, Majang, and Itang zones of the Gambella Region; Assosa, Metekel, Kamashi, and Mao-Komo zones of the Benishangul Gumuz Region; West and East Gojjam, Awi Zone, and the West, Central, and South Gondar zones of the Amhara Region. In addition, heavy rainfall exceeding 30 mm within 24 hours is expected over Illubabor, Sheka, and Mao Komo zones. Therefore, the anticipated rainfall amount and distribution will have significant importance for carrying out Belg season agricultural activities. On the other hand, maximum daytime temperatures ranging from 35°C to 40°C are expected to be recorded in Semera, Metehara, Pawe, Dire Dawa, Mayhansa, Addis Zemen, Gambella, Fugnido, Chewaka, Melka Jebdu, Awash Arba, Sherkole, Metema, Abobo, Kebri Dehar, and Gode.
