በትናንትናዉ ዕለት የበልግ ዝናብ ተጠቃሚ በሆኑት የሀገሪቱ አካባቢዎች ጠንካራ የደመና ሽፋን ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁም ጋር ተያይዞ በቦረናና ምስራቅ ቦረና፣ ባሌና ምስራቅ ባሌ፣ አርሲና ምዕራብ አርሲ፣ ጉጂና ምዕራብ ጉጂ፣ ምዕራብና ምስራቅ ሐረርጌ፣ ምዕራብ፣ ደቡብ ምዕራብ፣ ሰሜን እና ምስራቅ ሸዋ፣ ሲዳማ፣ አዲስ አበባ፣ ሐረር፣ ድሬ ዳዋ፣ ኢሉባቦር፣ ቄለም፣ ሆሮ ጉዱሩ፣ ምስራቅና ምዕራብ ወለጋ፣ ጋምቤላ፣ ምስራቅ ትግራይ፣ ሰሜንና ደቡብ ወሎ፣ ደቡብ ጎንደር ፣ምስራቅና ምዕራብ ጎጃም፣ ደቡብ ኦሞ፣ ሸካ፣ ከፋ፣ ኮንታ፣ ዳዉሮ፣ ሀድያ፣ ወላይታ፣ ስልጤ፣ ጋሞ፣ ጎፋ እና ሰሜን ሸዋ ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ያገኙ ሲሆን፤ በማጀቴ፣ ጎሬ፣ በደሌ፣ ወሊሶ፣ መርጦ ለማርያም፣ ኦንጋ እና ቡኢ ከ30 – 60.5 ሚሜ ከባድ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ አግኝተዋል፡፡ በሌላ በኩል በጋምቤላ፣ ፉኝዶ፣ አዋሽ አርባ፣ ጎዴ፣ አሸሬ እና አዲስ ዘመን የቀኑ ከፍተኛ የሙቀት መጠን ከ35-39°C ሆኖ ተመዝግቧል፡፡

Yesterday, there was heavy cloud cover in the areas of the country that benefited from the Belg rains season. Along with this, Borena and East Borena, Bale and East Bale, Arsi and West Arsi, Guji and West Guji, West and East Hararge, West, South West, North and East Shewa, Sidama, Addis Ababa, Harar, Dire Dawa, Ilubabor, Kelem, Horo Guduru, East and West Welega, Gambella, East Tigray, North and South Wallo, South Gondar, East and West Gojam, South Omo, Sheka, Kefa, Konta, Dawro, Hadiya, Wolaita, Silte, Gamo, Gofa and North Shewa received light to moderate rains. In addition Majete, Gore, Bedele, Wolisso, Mereto, LeMaryam, Onga and Bui received heavy rainfall ranging from 30 - 60.5 mm. On the other hand, Gambella, Fugnido, Awash Arba, Gode, Ashere and Addis Zemen recorded daily maximum temperatures of 35-39°C.

In line with this, in the Oromia region, Guji and West Guji, Borena, Bale and East Bale, Arsi and West Arsi, Jimma, Ilubabor, Buno Bedele, Horo Guduru, Kelem, East and West Wellega, South West, West, East and North Shewa, West and East Hararge zones; Addis Ababa; Harar; Dire Dawa; in the Southern Ethiopia region, Wolaita, Gamo, Gofa, Basketo, Gedeo, Ale, Kore, Gardula, Burji, South Omo and Konso zones; in all zones of Sidama region; From the Somali Region: Liben, Dolo, Afder, Korahe, Fafen, Siti, Jarar and Erer Zones; From the Central Ethiopian Region: Gurage, East Gurage, Mareko Special Zone, Silte, Mem Special Zone, Hadiya, Halaba, Kembata and Tembaro Zones; From the Southwestern Ethiopian Region: Kefa, Sheka, Bench Sheko, Konta, Dawro and West Omo Zones; From the Gambella Region: Agniwak Zone; From the Amhara Region: North and East Gojam, North and South Gondar, North and South Wallo, Waghimra, Oromo Nationality Special Zone and North Shewa Zones; From the Tigray Region: Central, East, South East and South Zones; The Kelbeti, Fanti, Awsi and Gabi zones of Afar region will receive light to moderate (1-29mm) rainfall in many places. In addition, Arsi and West Arsi, Sidama region, Silte, Gurage, East Gurage, South West, West, East and North Shewa, Addis Ababa, Harar and Fafen zones will have heavy rainfall of more than 30mm in 24 hours. Therefore, the amount and distribution of rainfall will be of great importance for carrying out Belg agricultural activities. On the other hand, the maximum temperature of daily in Metema, Sherkole, Kumruk, Gambella, Fugnido, Abobo, Gode, Kebridehar, Gewane and Awash Arba will be recorded as 35 to 40 degrees Celsius.
