በትናንትናው ዕለት በምዕራብ፣ በሰሜን ምዕራብ፣ በመካከለኛዉ እና በደቡብ የሀገራችን አካባቢዎች ላይ የደመና ሽፋን ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁም ጋር ተያይዞ በጅማ፣ ኢሉባቦር፣ ምስራቅ ወለጋ፣ ሰሜን ጎንደር እና ቡርጂ ዞኖች ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ያገኙ ሲሆን፤ በነቀምቴ 39.3ሚሜ ከባድ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ተመዝግቧል፡፡ በሌላ በኩል የቀኑ ከፍተኛ የሙቀት መጠን በድሬዳዋ37.8 እና በመተሐራ 40.0°C ሆኖ ተመዝግቧል፡፡

Yesterday there were cloudy conditions over the western, northwestern, central and southern parts of the country. In addition, light to moderate rain was recorded in Jimma, Illubabor, East Wollega, North Gondar and Burji zones, with Nekemte receiving a heavy rainfall amount of 39.3 mm. On the other hand, the day’s maximum temperatures were recorded at 37.8°C in Dire Dawa and 40.0°C in Metehara.

The rain-bearing weather systems will continue to persist in a similar manner over the western, northwestern, central, and southern parts of the country for tomorrow. Accordingly, many areas of Guji and West Guji, Bale, Arsi and West Arsi, Jimma, Ilubabor, Buno Bedelle, Horo Guduru, East and West Wollega, West Hararghe, North Shoa, East Shoa, Southwest Shoa, and West Shoa zones of the Oromia region; Gedeo zone of the South Ethiopia region; all zones of the Sidama region; Afder zone of the Somali Region; Gurage, East Gurage, Mareko Special zone, Silte, Yem special zone, Hadiya, Halaba, and Kembata Tembaro zones of the Central Ethiopia region; Kaffa, Sheka, Bench Sheko, Konta, and Dawuro zones of the Southwest Ethiopia region; Agnuwak and Majang zones of the Gambella region; Assosa, Metekel, and Kamashi zones of the Benishangul-Gumuz region; West Gondar, North Gondar, South Gondar, Central Gondar, Awi zone, North Wollo, South Wollo, North Shoa, Wag Hemra, West Gojjam, and East Gojjam zones of the Amhara region; and the Western, Northwestern, and Central zones of the Tigray region are expected to receive light to moderate rainfall (1–29 mm). On the other hand, the daytime maximum temperature is expected to be recorded in the range between 35°C and 40°C in Semera, Elidar, Gambella, Fugnido, Abobo, Melka Jebdu, Mai Hansa, Mehoni, Dire Dawa, Aysha, Metema, Dallifage, Awash Arba, Metehara, Gode, and Kebri Dehar.
