በትናንትናው ዕለት የክረምት ዝናብ ተጠቃሚ በሆኑት የሀገራችን አከባቢዎች ላይ የደመና ሽፋንና ክምችት ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁ ጋር በተያያዘም በብዙ ቦታዎቻቸው ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ (1-29 ሚ.ሜ) መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ያገኙ ሲሆን በአትናጎ በ24 ሰዓት ውስጥ ከ30 ሚ.ሜ በላይ ከባድ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ተመዝግቧል፡፡
