ባለፉት ሁለት ቀናት የክረምት ዝናብ ተጠቃሚ በሆኑት የሀገራችን አካባቢዎች ላይ የደመና ሽፋን ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁ ጋር በተያያዘም በብዙ ቦታዎቻቸው ላይ ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ (1-29 ሚ.ሜ) መጠን ያለው ዝናብ አግኝተዋል፡፡ በተጨማሪም በ10 የሚያህሉ ቦታዎች በ24 ሰዓት ውስጥ ከ30 ሚ.ሜ በላይ ከባድ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ተመዝግቧል፡፡

In the previous two days, there was cloud cover the Kiremt rain-benefiting areas of our country. In this regards, many places received light to moderate (1-29 mm) amount rainfall. Additionally, heavy rainfall exceeding 30mm within a 24-hour was recorded in approximately 10 places.

Tomorrow, our forecast data indicates that the rain bring weather events will continue over the Kiremt rain benefiting areas of our country that rely on winter rainfall. In association with this, the Central, Northwest, Southeast, South, and East zones of the Tigray Region; North, West, South, and Central Gondar of the Amhara Region; West and East Gojjam; Awi; North and South Wollo; the Oromo Ethnic Special Zone; North Shewa and Waghemra Zones; the Oromia Region including Jimma, Ilubabor, Buno Dele, West, East, Kelem, and Horogudru Wolga; West, Southwest, East, and North Shewa; Arsi and West Arsi; West and East Hararge; Bale; Guji and West Guji zones; Addis Ababa; Dire Dawa; Itang, Nuer, Agnwuak and Majang zones of the Gambella region; Assossa, Mao Como, Kamash and Mekelle zones of the Benishangul-Gumuz region; Sheka, Bench Sheko, Kefa, Konta, West Omo and Dauro zones from the Southwest Ethiopia region; from the Central Ethiopia Region including Gurage, East Gurage, Kebena Special Zone, Mareko Special Zone, Yem Special Zone, Silte, Halaba, Hadia, Kembata and Tembaro zones; Sidama Regional Zones; and from Southern Ethiopia the regions of Wolaita, Gamo, Gofa, Basketo, Kore, Gardula, Ale, Burj, Konso, and Gedeo; the Gabi, Hari and Kilbeti zones of the Afar region and the Fafen zone of the Somali region will receive light to moderate amounts of rainfall at many of their places. Additionally, due to the intensifing weather events, Dangla, Guangua, Sherkole, Sayo Nole, Nole Kaba, Sasiga, Lekadulecha, Arjo, Darimu, Salta, Meko, Dega, Limuseka, Limukosa, Goma, Mena, Dedessa, Borcha, Satema, Sigmo, Shebesambo, Adeyio, Tulu, Cheta, Disa, Loma, Masha, Shaybench, Gacht, Mentishasha, Kindo Dadaye, Sodo Around, Damot Soro, Bensa, Tere, Nencebo, Rappe, and Churso will have heavy rainfall exceeding 30mm within a 24-hour.
