Yesterday, there was a cloudy coverage over the western, central, southern, and southwestern regions of our country. Along with this, light rain was recorded in Addis Ababa, Jimma, Nekemte, Limmu Genet, Gore, Dilla, Ejaji, Ambo, Fiche, Chagni, Debre Work, Aman, Bati, Woliso, Majete, Shambu, Sokoru, and Dembi Dollo. On the other hand, in Metehara, Gode, Aysha, Awash Arba, Funyido, Gewane, and Gambella, daytime maximum temperatures ranged from 35.8 to 41.6 degrees Celsius.

In line with this, the southern and southwestern Ethiopia regions, including Bench Sheko, Sheka, Kefa, Konta, Western Omo, and Dawuro zones; the southern Ethiopia region zones of Gamo, Gofa, Basketo, Gardula, Kore, Southern Omo, and Gedeo; the Central Ethiopia region zones of Gurage, Silte, Hadiya, Halaba, Yem Special Zone, Kambata, and Tambaro; Sidama region zones; Oromia region zones of Guji and Western Guji, Borena and Eastern Borena, Bale, Western Arsi, Western and Southwestern Shewa, Jimma, Ilubabor, Buno Bedele, Horo Guduru, Kellem, Eastern and Western Wollega zones; Addis Ababa; Benishangul-Gumuz region zones of Metekel, Asosa, Kamashi, and Mao Komo; Gambela region zones of Agnuak, Nuer, Itang, and Majang; Somali region Fafan zone; Amhara region zones of North, Central, and South Gondar, Awi, Eastern and Western Gojjam will receive rainfall ranging from light to moderate intensity (1-29 mm).On the other hand, in Metema, Quara, Metekel, Semera, Dubti, Gewane, Elidar, Awash Arba, Aysha, Gambela, Lare, and Funyido, daytime maximum temperatures are expected to be, ranging from 38 to 41 degrees Celsius.
