በትናንትናው ዕለት በሰሜን ምዕራብ፣ በመካከለኛው እና በምዕራብ የሀገራችን አከባቢዎች የደመና ሽፋን ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁ ጋር በተያያዘም በመተማ፣ አይከል፣ ሻሁራ፣ ሸንዲ፣ እሮብገበያ፣መካነኢየሱስ፣ኮሶ ባር፣አዲስ ዘመን፣ደ/ታቦር፣ሞጣ፣ ቻግኒ፣ ዳንግላ፣ ካቺስ፣ ወሊሶ፣ሻምቦ፣ጂማ፣ጪራ፣ጎሬ፣ደቢ ዶሎ እና ታርጫ ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ያገኙ ሲሆን በቡለን፣ጊምቢ፣ኢጃጂ እና በበደሌ ከ30 ሚ.ሜ በላይ ከባድ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ተመዝግቧል፡፡ በሌላ በኩል በመተሀራ፣ ጨፋ፣ መተማ፣ ጋምቤላ፣ ፉኝዶ፣መኢሶ እና መልካ ጀብዱ የቀኑ ከፍተኛ የሙቀት መጠን ከ35.4 እስከ 41.0 ዲግሪ ሴልሺየስ በላይ ሆኖ ተመዝግቧል፡፡

Yesterday, there was a cloudy atmosphere in the northern, central, and western regions of our country. Along with this, moderate to light rainfall was recorded in Metema, Aykel, Shahura, Shendi, Robgeba, Mekane Jesus, Koso Bar, Addis Zemen, Debre Tabor, Motta, Chagni, Dangila, Kachis, Woliso, Shambu, Jimma, Chira, Gore, Dembidolo, and Tercha. Heavy rainfall of over 30 mm was recorded in Bullen, Gimbi, Ejaji, and Bedelle. On the other hand, high daytime temperatures ranging from 35.4 to 41.0 degrees Celsius were recorded in Metahara, Cheffa, Metema, Gambela, Funyido, Meiso, and Melka Jebdu.

Tomorrow, there will be cloudy weather accompanied by beneficial winter rain over various regions of our country. Specifically, the central, eastern, southern, and southeastern zones of the Tigray region; the western, northern, central, and southern parts of the Amhara region including Gondar; the Awi zone; the western and eastern parts of Gojjam; the northern and southern parts of Wollo; Wag Himra; Oromia Ethnic special zone; and northern Shewa. In the Benishangul Gumuz region, areas such as Metekel, Asosa, Kamashi, and Mao-Komo will also experience rain. In Oromia, rainfall is expected in Jimma, Ilubabor, Buno Bedele, Kelem, Horro Guduru, the western and eastern parts of Wollega, northern, eastern, western, and southern western Shewa, Arsi and western Arsi, Borena, western and eastern Hararghe, Bale, Addis Ababa, Harar, and Dire Dawa. From the Gambela region, the Agnuak, Majang, and Itang zones will receive rain. In the Southern Western places like Bench Sheko, Sheka, Kaffa, Konta, western Omo, and Dawuro; in the Central Ethiopia region, Gurage, eastern Gurage, Silte, Hadiya, Halaba, the Yem special zone, Kambata, and Tambaro; and in the Southern Ethiopia region, Wolayita, Gofa, Gamo, and Gedeo zones, as well as the zones of Fafan and Sitti in the Somali region, will experience light to moderate rainfall ranging from 1 to 29 millimeters in many of their locations. Additionally, heavy rainfall exceeding 30 millimeters within 24 hours is expected in areas such as Mao-Komo, Akobo, Jore, Gog, and Abobo, around Gambela, Mangesh, Gidami, Anfilo, Sayo, Bure, Setema, Gera, Masha, and Gash. On the other hand, forecasts indicate that daytime temperatures in Elidar, Metema, Chefa, Bati, Metehara, Dire Dawa, Awash Arba, Gewane, Chifra, Dubti, Semera, Ayshe, and Kebridahar will rise above 38 degrees Celsius.
