በትናንትናው ዕለት የክረምት ዝናብ ተጠቃሚ በሆኑት አከባቢዎች እንዲሁም በደቡብ የሀገራችን ክፍሎች ላይ የተስፋፋ እና የተጠናከረ የደመና ሽፋን ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁ ጋር በተያየዘም በብዙ ቦታዎቻቸው ላይ ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ (1-29 ሚ.ሜ) መጠን ያለው ዝናብ አግኝተዋል። በተጨማሪም 29 በሚያህሉ አካባቢዎች ላይ በ24 ሰዓት ውስጥ ከ30 ሚ.ሜ በላይ ከባድ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ተመዝግቧል፡፡

Yesterday, there was strong and widspred cloud covers over the Kiremt rain benefiting areas and the southern parts of our country. In this regard, many of their places received light to moderate (1-29 mm) rainfall amounts. Additionally, heavy rainfall was recorded exceeding 30 mm within a 24-hour in 29 stations.

Tomorrow, the forecast information shows that weather conditions favorable to the formation of Kiremt rainfall will continue across the Kiremt rain-benefiting areas. In association with this, the central, northwest, southeast, south and east zones of Tigray region; from the Amhara region, north, west, south and central Gondar, west, north and east Gojjam, Awi, north and south Wollo, Oromo ethnic special zone, north Shewa and Waghemra zones; from the Oromia region, Jimma, Ilubabor, Buno Bedele, east, west, Kelem and Horogudru Wellega, west, southwest, east and north Shewa, Arsi and west Arsi, west and east Hararge, Bale and east Bale, Guji and west Guji zones; Addis Ababa; Dire Dawa; Harar; from Benishangul Gumuz region: Asossa, Mao Komo, Kamash and Metekel zones; from Gambella region: Majang, Itang, Nuer and Agnuwak zones; from Southwestern Ethiopia region: Sheka, Bench Sheko, Kefa, Konta, west Omo and Dawro zones; Central Ethiopia region: Gurage, Kebena Special zone, East Gurage, Mareko Special zone, Silte, Yem Special zone, Halaba, Hadiya, Kembata and Tembaro zones; from Afar region Ausi, Kilbeti, Gabi, Hari and Fanti zones, from Southern Ethiopia region Wolayta, Gamo, Gofa, Gedio, Kore, Gardula, Alle, Burji, Konso and Basketo zones and from Somali region Siti, Fafen and Jarar zones will receive light to moderate rainfall in most areas. Additionally, Egela, Aheferom, Gulomekada, Bizet, Gantaafshum, Hawzen, Maji, and Sumra are expected to receive heavy rainfall exceeding 30 mm within a 24-hour.
