በትናንትናው ዕለት በምዕራብ አማራ፣ በቤንሻንጉል ጉሙዝ ክልል እና በምዕራብ ኦሮሚያ የደመና ሽፋን ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁ ጋር በተያያዘም በአሶሳ፣ በየትኖራ፣ በሻምቡ፣ በጊምቢ እና በካችስ ቀላል መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ተመዝግቦባቸዋል፡፡ በሌላ በኩል የቀኑ ከፍተኛ የሙቀት መጠን በጋምቤላ፣ ፉኝዶ፣ መተሀራ፣ ቀብሪዳሃር እና ጎዴ ከ36.0- 39.5 ዲግሪ ሴልሺየስ ተመዝግቧል፡፡

Yesterday, there was cloud cover in west Amhara, Benishangul-Gumuz region and western Oromiya. In association with this, light amounts of rainfall were recorded in Assossa, Yetnora, Shambu, Gimbi and Kachis. On the other hand, the maximum temperature of the day was recorded 36.0- 39.5 degrees Celsius in Gambella, Fugnido, Metehara, Kebridehar and Gode.

Tomorrow, there will be widespread and strong cloud cover over the main and second Belg rainy season benefiting areas, as well as the north and northwest parts of the country. Along with this, from the Southwest Ethiopia region Wolaita, Gamo, Gofa, Basketo, Amaro, Derashe, Konso, Burji, South Omo and Gedeo zones; from southwest Ethiopia region Bench Sheko, Sheka, Kefa, Konta, west Omo and Dauro zones; from Oromia region Guji and west Guji, Borena and east Borena, Bale and east Bale, west and east Hararge, Arsi and west Arsi, west, southwest, east and north Shewa, Jimma, Ilubabor, Buno Bedele, Kelem, Horo Gudru, west and east Wellega zones; Addis Ababa, Harari, Dire Dawa; from Somali region: Fafen, Siti, Jarrar, Erer, Nogob, Korahe, Shebelle, Afder, Doolo, Liben and Dawa zones; zones of Sidama region; from Central Ethiopia region: Gurage, Silte, Hadia, Halaba, Yem Special zone, Kembata and Tembaro zones; from Gambella region Agnuak, Nuer, Itang and Majang zones; from Afar region Gabi zone; from Tigray region northwest, central and east zones; from Amhara region central, north and south Gondar, Awi zone, west and east Gojjam zones and from the Benishangul-Gumuz region Metekel, Assossa, Mao Como and Kamash zones will receive light to moderate amounts (1-29 mm) of rainfall. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall exceeding 30 mm in 24 hours is anticipated in zones such as Sheka, Fafa, Wolaita, Hadiya, Gofa, Guji, Bale, and West Arsi. This rainfall will be highly beneficial for ongoing Belg season agricultural activities and in pastoral areas, ensuring better availability of animal feed and drinking water. On the other hand, forecast information show that the maximum temperature of the day will exceed 38 degrees Celsius in Humera, Metema, Quara, Metekel, Gambella, Lare, Fugnido, Semera, Gewane, Awash Arba and Gode.
