በትናንትናው ዕለት በሰሜን፣ በምዕራብ፣ በመካከለኛው፣ በደቡብ እና በምስራቅ የሀገሪቱ ክፍሎች ላይ የደመና ሽፋን ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁ ጋር በተያያዘም የሰሜን፣ ደቡብና ማዕከላዊ ጎንደር፣ አዊ፣ ምዕራብና ምስራቅ ጎጃም እና ደቡብ ወሎ ዞኖች፤ የጅማ፣ ኢሉባቦር፣ ቡኖ በደሌ፣ ምዕራብና ምስራቅ ወለጋ፣ ምዕራብና ደቡብ ምዕራብ ሸዋ፣ ባሌ፣ አርሲ፣ ምዕራብ ጉጂ፣ ቦረና እና ምስራቅ ቦረና ዞኖች፤ አዲስ አበባ፤ ሐረር፤ ከቤንሻንጉል ጉሙዝ ክልል የመተከል እና አሶሳ ዞኖች፤ ከደቡብ ምዕራብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የቤንች ሸኮ ዞን፤ ከማዕከላዊ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የጉራጌ ዞን፤ ከደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የወላይታ፣ ጋሞ፣ ሳዉላ፣ ቡርጂ፣ ኮንሶ እና ደቡብ ኦሞ ዞኖች እና የሲዳማ ክልል ዞኖች ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ መጠን ያለዉ ዝናብ አግኝተዋል፡፡ በተጨማሪም በማጂ ከ30 ሚ.ሜ በላይ ከባድ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ተመዝግቧል፡፡
