በትናንትናው ዕለት የክረምት ዝናብ ተጠቃሚ በሆኑት የትግራይ፤ አማራ፤ ቤንሻንጉል ጉሙዝ፤ ኦሮሚያ፤ ሰሜን ሶማሌ፣ ማዕከላዊ እና ደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ እንዲሁም በምስራቅ የሀገሪቱ አከባቢዎች ላይ የደመና ሽፋን እና ክምችት ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁ ጋር በተያያዘም የሰሜን ምዕራብ፣ ማዕከላዊ፣ ደቡብ ምስራቅና ምስራቅ ትግራይ ዞኖች፤ የሰሜን፣ ደቡብና ማዕከላዊ ጎንደር፣ ምዕራብና ምስራቅ ጎጃም፣ አዊ፣ ደቡብ ወሎ፣ ሰሜን ሸዋ እና ዋግኸምራ ዞኖች፤ የጅማ፣ ኢሉባቦር፣ ሆሮ ጉዱሩ፣ ምዕራብና ምስራቅ ወለጋ፣ ቡኖ በደሌ፣ ሰሜን፣ ደቡብ ምዕራብና ምስራቅ ሸዋ፣ ምዕራብ ጉጂ፣ ባሌ፣ አርሲ እና ምዕራብ ሐረርጌ ዞኖች፤ ከቤንሻንጉል ጉሙዝ ክልል የመተከል እና አሶሳ ዞኖች፤ ከማዕከላዊ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የሀድያ እና ስልጤ ዞኖች፤ ከደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የወላይታ ዞን፤ የሲዳማ ክልል ዞኖች እና ከሶማሌ ክልል የፋፈን ዞን ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ መጠን ያለዉ ዝናብ አግኝተዋል፡፡ በተጨማሪም በደብረታቦር ከ30 ሚ.ሜ በላይ ከባድ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ተመዝግቧል፡፡

Yesterday, the Kiremt rainfall benefiting areas Tigray; Amhara; Benshangul Gumuz; Oromia; northern Somali; central and south Ethiopia as well as east parts of the country had cloud coverage and accumulation. In association to this, the north west, central, south east and east Tigray zones; north, south and central Gondar, west and east Gojjam, Awi, south Wollo, north Shewa and Waghemra zones; Jimma, Ilubabor, Horo Guduru, west and east Wellega, Buno Bedele, north, south west and east Shewa, west Guji, Bale, Arsi and west Hararge zones; from the Benishangul Gumuz region Metekel and Asossa; from the central Ethiopia Hadiya and Silte zones; from the south Ethiopia region Wolayta zone; Sidama region zones and Somali region Fafen zone received light to moderate rainfall. In addition, more than 30 mm of heavy rainfall was recorded over Debretabor.

In line with this, the western, central, northwestern, southeastern, southern and eastern zones of the Tigray region; from the Amhara region west, north, south and central Gondar, west and east Gojjam, north and south Wollo, Oromo ethnic special zone, north Shewa and Waghemra Zones; from the Afar region Gabi, Fanti, Awusi and Hari zones; from the Benshangul Gumuz region, Asossa, Kamash, Metekel and Mao Komo and zones; from the Oromia region Jimma, Ilubabor, Buno Bedele, Kelam Wellega, west and east Wellega, Horo Guduru Wellega, north, west and southwest Shewa, west Arsi; Addis Ababa; Dire Dawa; Harar; from the Gambella region Agnuwak and Majang zones; from the south west Ethiopia region Bench Sheko, Sheka, Kefa, Konta and Dawuro zones; from the central Ethiopian region Gurage, Silte, Halaba, Hadiya, Yem special zone, Kambata and Tmbaro zones; from the south Ethiopia region Wolaita, Basketo and Gedeo zones; Sidama region zones and Somali region Siti and Fafen zones will receive light to moderate rainfall in many places. In addition, in Shiraro, Shire Endesilase, Adwa, Debark, Denbia, Gondar, Libokemkem, Dangila, Bahirdar, Mao Komo, Gidami, Digga, Kiramu, Amuru, Abedongoro, Horo, Sulula Fincha’a, Salenono, Gindeberet and Warra Jarso will receive heavy rainfall of more than 30 mm in 24 hours. On the other hand, due to the intensifying weather events the Gofa, Guji, Arsi, Borena and east Borena, Bale, west and east Hararge, Dawa, Liben and Afder zones will receive light rainfall.
