በትናንትናው ዕለት በምዕራብ አማራ፣ ምዕራብና ደቡብ ኦሮሚያ፣ በጋምቤላ፣ በደቡብ ምዕራብ እና በደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ የሀገራችን አካባቢዎች ላይ የደመና ሽፋን ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁ ጋር ተያይዞ በላይበር፣ ጊዳ አያና፣ ሻምቡ፣ አርጆ፣ ጅማ፣ በደሌ፣ ቦሬ፣ ያቤሎ፣ ነገሌ፣ ጋምቤላ፣ አማን፣ ምዕራብ አባያ፣ አርባ ምንጭ፣ ሳውላ፣ ቡርጂ እና ዲላ ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ (1-29 ሚ.ሜ) መጠን ያለው ዝናብ አግኝተዋል፡፡ በተጨማሪም በደባርቅ፣ ጎሬ እና ኮንሶ ከ30 ሚ.ሜ በላይ ከባድ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ተመዝግቧል፡፡
