በትናንትናው ዕለት በደቡብ እና ምስራቅ ትግራይ፣ በምስራቅ አማራ፣ በአፋር እና በምስራቅ እና ደቡብ ኦሮሚያ የሀገሪቱ ክፍሎች ላይ የደመና ሽፋን ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁ ጋር በተያያዘም አጽቢ፣ ማይጨው፣ ላሊበላ፣ ወገልጤና ፣ ስሪንቃ፣ ጋምቤላ፣ ወራቤ፣ ጊኒር እና ሐረር ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ (1-29 ሚ.ሜ) መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ተመዝግቧል፡፡
