በትናንትናው ዕለት የክረምት ዝናብ ተጠቃሚ በሆኑት የትግራይ፤ አማራ፤ ቤንሻንጉል ጉሙዝ፤ ኦሮሚያ፣ አፋር፣ ሰሜን ሶማሌ፤ ደቡብ ምዕራብ፣ ማዕከላዊ እና ደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ እንዲሁም በምስራቅ የሀገሪቱ ክፍሎች ላይ ጠንካራ የደመና ክምችት ነበራቸው፡፡ ከዚሁ ጋር በተያያዘም የሰሜን ምዕራብ፣ ማዕከላዊ፣ ደቡብ፣ ደቡብ ምስራቅ እና ምስራቅ ትግራይ ዞኖች፤ የሰሜን፣ ደቡብ እና ማዕከላዊ ጎንደር፣ ምስራቅና ምዕራብ ጎጃም፣ አዊ፣ ሰሜንና ደቡብ ወሎ፣ ሰሜን ሸዋ እና ዋግኸምራ ዞኖች፤ ከአፋር ክልል አዉሲ፣ ፋንቲ እና ጋቢ ዞኖች፤ ከቤንሻንጉል ጉሙዝ ክልል የመተከል፣ አሶሳ እና ቡለን ዞኖች፤ የጅማ፣ ኢሉባቦር፣ ቡኖ በደሌ፣ ሆሮጉድሩ፣ ምዕራብና ምስራቅ ወለጋ፣ ምዕራብ፣ ደቡብ ምዕራብና ምስራቅ ሸዋ፣ ምዕራብ ጉጂ፣ አርሲ፣ ምዕራብ እና ምስራቅ ሐረርጌ ዞኖች፤ አዲስ አበባ፤ ከደቡብ ምዕራብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የቤንች ሸኮ እና ዳዉሮ ዞኖች፤ ከማዕከላዊ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የሀድያ እና ስልጤ ዞኖች፤ ከደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የወላይታ፣ ጎፋ፣ ጋሞ፣ ኮንሶ፣ ቡርጂ እና ደቡብ ኦሞ ዞኖች እና የሲዳማ ክልል ዞኖች ከቀላል እስከ መካከለኛ መጠን ያለዉ ዝናብ አግኝተዋል፡፡ በተጨማሪም በመቀሌ፣ በደብረታቦር፣ በባህርዳር፣ በደብረማርቆስ፣ በኮምቦልቻ፣ በባቲ፣ በጨፋ፣ በወረኢሉ እና በእነዋሪ ከ30 ሚ.ሜ በላይ ከባድ መጠን ያለው ዝናብ ተመዝግቧል፡፡

Yesterday, the Kiremt rainfall benefiting areas Tigray; Amhara; Benishangul Gumuz; Oromia, Afar, northern Somali; southwest, central and southern Ethiopia as well as eastern parts of the country had strong cloud coverage and accumulation. In association with this, the northwest, central, south, southeast and east Tigray zones; north, south and central Gondar, east and west Gojjam, Awi, north and south Wollo, north Shewa and Waghemra zones; from the Afar region Awusi, Fanti and Gabi zones; from the Benishangul Gumuz region Asossa and Bulen zones; Jimma, Ilubabor, Buno Bedele, Horo Guduru, west and east Wellega, west, south west and east Shewa, west Guji, Arsi, west and east Hararge zones; Addis Ababa; from the southwest Ethiopia region Bench Sheko and Dawuro Zones; from the central Ethiopia region Hadiya and Silte zones; from the south Ethiopia region Wolaita, Gofa, Gamo, Konso, Burji and South Omo zones and Sidama region zones receied light to moderate rainfall. In addition, heavy rainfall of more than 30 mm was recorded over Mekelle, Debretabor, Bahir Dar, Debre Markos, Combolcha, Bati, Chifra, Wereilu and Enewari.

For the coming day, the weather conditions favourable for the formation of Kiremt rains will continue to strengthen over the areas benefiting from Kiremt rains. In addition, in Humera, Welkait, Maykadira, Tsegede, Dansha, Shire Endesilase, Shiraro, Adwa, Aksum, Abergele, Sahartisamre, Atsebi, Dalifagi, Chifra, Dalol, Berahale, Abiala, Debark, Metema, Fogera, Farta, Laigaint, Simada, Pawe, Jawi, Dangila, Bulen, Dangur, Wemberima, Sekela, Mecha, Motta, Sekota, Zikuala, Lasta, Dawunt, Wadila, Mekdella, Kelela, Sayint, Wegid, Desie, Merabete, Moretnajru, Antsokia, Mao Komo, Asossa, Abobo, Jore, Gog, Dima, Addis Ababa, Gidami, Gida, Sibusire, Dera, Degam, Jida, Yaya Gulele, Nono, Jibat, Dendi, Jeldu, Ejere, Wenchi, Ameya, Adaa, Anchar and Awubare will receive heavy rainfall of more than 30 mm in 24 hours. Therefore, the Ethiopian Meteorological Institute suggests that the community should take the necessary precautions as heavy rains are being observed repeatedly in various parts of the country. On the other hand, south Omo, Amaro, Borena and east Bale zones will receive light rainfall at a few places.
