During the first dekade of December 2025 (01-10), moderate surface water flow is anticipated in isolated areas of south-western catchments, notably in the Upper Baro-Akobo, Middle Omo-Gibe, and parts of the Upper Genale Dawa. Meanwhile, the majority of Bega moisture-benefiting catchments, including most of the Abay, Tekeze, Awash, Central Rift Valley, Wabi Shebele, Lower Genale-Dawa, and Ogaden basins, are expected to experience predominantly humid to arid conditions.
