June 2nd Assessment and June 3rd Outlook 2025

Bulletin

When we examine the projected surface water availability for the next ten days, it is expected that moderate to high surface water flow will occur, especially in areas that are typically beneficial during the rainy season. On the other hand, due to intermittent heavy rainfall—particularly in flood-prone urban and rural areas—there is a likelihood of flash flooding and rivers exceeding their banks. Therefore, water sector stakeholders are advised to take appropriate actions to mitigate flood damage and capitalize on the positive opportunities brought by the upcoming conditions.
