June 1st Assessment and June 2nd Outlook 2025

Bulletin

In the next ten days of June, because the rainy season is starting, moderate to heavy surface water flow is expected in most major river basins. However, heavy rain could cause flash floods, especially in low-lying urban and rural areas. This means there could be damage, but also good opportunities if the water is managed well. So, people working in water-related areas are advised to take action both to reduce the risk of flooding and to make good use of the water where it is available.
