During the second ten-day period of February, the prevailing dry conditions across most river basins are expected to reduce surface water flow. However, in limited parts of the Baro-Akobo, Omo-Gibe, Rift Valley, and Genale-Dawa basins, low but observable surface water flow is expected. To minimize potential risks and make effective use of water harvesting conditions, the following location-specific hydrometeorological advisories should be properly implemented.
