According to the Second dekad of November 2025 climate-health analysis, the South-Western pocket areas of the country have favorable climate conditions for malaria vector transmission and expansion. As a result, malaria exposure will increase, particularly in South- Western parts of Ethiopia. However, heat stress conditions exist in the low-lying border areas of Eastern, Northeaster, Western and Southern part of Ethiopia, which can affect human and cattle activity and productivity.
