During the second dekad of August 2026, climatic conditions ranging from low to moderately favourable for malaria breeding and transmission were observed across parts of most parts of Oromia zones, Southwest, South, and Central Ethiopia regions, Eastern Gambela, Benishangul-Gumuz, and most parts of Amhara and Tigray regions.
