Heavy and extremely heavy (ranking in the top 10–1%) rainfall is expected over Benshangul-Gumuz, Western Amhara, Central Ethiopia region, Southwest Ethiopia region, North and Eastern Somali, pocket area of Western Gambella, Sidama, most Afar, Western, Eastern and Southern highlands of Oromia and Eastern parts of the Country.
