Favorable climate conditions for the breeding and development of malaria mosquito vectors were observed over most parts of the western half, such as most parts of Wollega zones, all parts of Benshangul Gumuz, the eastern half of Gambela, the western borders of west Amhara, the Northern SNNPR, the central, southern, and eastern parts of the country and Sidama regions. Low to non-favorable conditions were observed over most parts of the country.
