Bulletin

According to the November 2025 climate-health analysis, some pocket parts of Western Ethiopia were had favorable climate conditions for malaria breeding and transmission. As a result, malaria exposure will increase, particularly in the western Oromia, southwest Ethiopia, and eastern Gambela regions. However, non-significant heat stress conditions exist in the low-lying border areas of Eastern, Northeastern, Western, and Southern Ethiopia, particularly in the Afar, Gambela, Somali, and South Ethiopia regions, affecting human and cattle activity and productivity.
