According to the collected and analyzed climate data for April 2024, there were low favorable to moderate suitable climate conditions for the breeding and development of malaria transmission in places such as the eastern half of the Gambela region, the south and south-west Ethiopian people region, Sidama and central Ethiopian people region, all parts of the Oromia region, most parts of the Somali region, central and border parts of eastern Amhara, and southern parts of the Benishangul Gumuz regions of the country.
