During April 2025, days remained warm in several parts of the Ethiopian lowlands, including Gambella, Somali, Afar, Benishangul Gumuz, North West Amhara, and Tigray regions. Specifically, the extreme maximum temperature values were as high as 44, 43.8, 42.8, and 42.6. 42.2, 41, and 41 for Fugnuido, Gambella, Metema, Gewane, Metehara (NMSA), Awash Arba, Semera.On the other hand, the extreme minimum temperature values of below 6°C were recorded in some highland areas of Amhara, some parts of Oromia, Tigray, and Benishangul Gumuz regions. Specifically, the extreme minimum temperature values were 3.6. 4.6. 4.8, 4.8, 5, 5, 5.2, 5.5, and 5.6 over D/Brehan, Bui, Jijiga, Mehalmeda, Debrezeit, Alemketema, Sholagebaya, Wegeltena, Debark, and Amba Mariam, respectively.
