In this bulletin, satellite rainfall estimates and vegetation greenness for the 3rd Dekad of April 2025 were generated using TAMESAT and METOSAT vegetation products. During this period, moderate rainfall was observed in some Belg rain-benefiting areas, particularly in the southern, southwestern, and southeastern regions, resulting in significant vegetation cover as indicated by the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). However, most of the country except some pocket areas of Afar, Oromia and Somali regions received minimal to high rainfall. As a result, vegetation cover remained low, with some areas exhibiting bare or sparse vegetation.
