Description

The National Meteorological Agency Library is established in 1982 as meteorological library to render library services in meteorology and allied sciences. This Library provides its services for research, academia, references, training and decision-making on meteorological and related sciences.

At present the library is officially under the Agency's Education and Training Directorate. The library has two librarians. Most of the library collections are WMO publications. Occasionally we also purchased some reference materials such as encyclopedia Britannica 15th edition 1983 and 2002 complete set, some meteorological text- books and dictionaries. According to recent inventory, the Library has 15,000 volumes and 15,000 collections.
