Description
NWP is the science of predicting the weather using mathematical models of the atmosphere and oceans to predict the weather based on current weather conditons . A number of global and regional forecast models are run in differnt countries world wide. In National Meteorological Agency (NMA) of Ethiopia curently running two NWP models such as the fifth generation of the Mesoscale Modeling System (MM5) and Weather Reasarch and Forecast (WRF).
