Weather Summary Of July 29, 2010

Like the previous days, the rainfall activity was prevailed across much of western half and central parts of the country. In general, Tigray, Amhara, western and central Oromiya had received light to heavy rainshowers. Besides, some places Gambella, Benishangul-Gumuz, and SNNPR, Afar as well as southern highland and eastern received light to moderate rainshowers. On the other hand, the remaining portions of the nation were dominated by partly cloudy condition.

Weather Forecast for July 31-Aug 02, 2010

In the coming three days, more or less the incursion of moist air is expected to continue in similar manner across much of the Kiremit rain benefiting areas of the country. As a result, much of Amhara, Tigray, central and western Oromiya, Benishangul-Gumuz and Gambella as well as some places of SNNPR, Afar, southern high lands and eastern parts of the country will get light to moderate rainshowers. Heavy rainshowers is likely to fall at few places of the aforementioned areas. On the other hand, the remaining parts of the country will have patches of cloud.
