Seasonal Hydro-meteorlogical

From June to September across Kiremt rain benefiting basins were received normal to below normal amount of rainfall. In this case most of parts Abay, Tekeze, upper Awash, upper and middle Omogibe and Baro Akobo, upper Rift valley and some parts of upper Wabishebele and Genale dawa were performed wet condition. The rest most of upper and middle Genale Dawa and Wabishebele, middle and lower Awash, eastern Tekeze and Abay and Afar Denakel catchments were experienced dry to humid condition.

In the first month of October, except some areas of lower Awash and Afar Denakel across the rest all catchments will perform wet condition. During November the wet weather condition also will be experienced over upper and middle catchments. Based on the rainfall tercile probability most parts of the main river basins will be expected under normal and above normal condition.
