During the third decade of August 2016, rain bearing meteorological phenomenon strengthened and brings moisture in most places of Meher-crops growing and beneficiaries??areas of the country. In line with, heavy rainfall was observed over Arjo 34.0, Gundomeskel 48.1, sirnka 46.2, Jimma 44.3, Shire 34.2, Dangla 40.0, Nejo 31.2, Alagie 47.9, Masha 60.5, Limugenet 51.2, Chewake 54.5, Adaji 37.7, Adawa 30.0, Neblet 34.8, Axium 32.0, Aribaminch 33.4, Tercha 44.0, Maji 48.5, Buri 33.5, and Nekemt 66.3 in mm. Kiremt rainy was prevailed over Tigray, Amhara, Benshangul Gumiz, Gambela, SNNPR, most part of Oromia, Afar, north Somali, Diredawa and Harer received from little to heavy amount of rainfall.
