In the coming days, numerical forecast data indicate that weather events favorable for the formation of rain will continue to intensify in many places. In line with this, from the Tigray region the central, east, south, and southeast zones; from the Amhara region, South and North Gondar, North and South Wolo, West and East Gojam, Wag hemra and North Showa zones; and from the Oromo ethnic special zone; from the Afar region of Kilbet, Fanti, Hati, Awsi, and Gabi Zones; from the Oromia region Jimma, Buno Bedele, Ilubabor, East, West, Horo Guduru, Kelem Wolega, North, East, West and Southwest Showa, Borena and East Borena, Arsi and West Arsi, Guji and West Guji, Bale and East Bale, West and East Hararge zones. Addis Ababa: From Benshangul Gumuz Region, Metekel, Kamashi, Asosa, and Mao Komo Zones; from Gambella Region, Nuer, Agnuwak, Majang, and Itang Zones; from Central Ethiopia Region, Gurage and East Gurage, Silte, Hadia, Halaba, Mareko, Kembata, and Tenbaro Zones; in all the zones of the Sidama region, from South West Ethiopia region Sheka, Bench Sheko, Kefa, Konta, Dauro, and West Omo zones; from South Ethiopia region Wolayta, Gamo, Gofa, Ali, Ari, Basketo, Derashe, Konso, Burji, Amaro, Gedeo, and South Omo Zones; from Somali region Dawa, Liben, Afder, Shebele, Korahe, Nogob, Dolo, Erer, Jarar, City, and Fafen zones of; Harar and Diredawa will have light to moderate rain in many places. In addition, East Hararge, Borena, and East Borena, Guji, West Guji, Dawa, Liben, Afder, Shebele, Korahe, Nogob, Dolo, Erer, Jarar, Fafen, Sheka, Bench Sheko, Kefa, Konta, and West Omo zones will receive heavy rainfall within 24 hours. Therefore, in Awash, in the Rift Valley and Wabishebele basins and flood-prone areas, the Ethiopian Institute of Meteorology suggests that the community and concerned bodies should take necessary precautions.
