During February 11-20/2012 dry, windy and sunny weather condition was observed over most of the nation. In line with this, cool night and morning was prevailed over the highlands. As result, some station that recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the dekad are Alemaya , Debreberhan and koffele -2.5, -2.8 and -1.5 0C respectively . On the other hand, in relation to an increased of cloud cover, light rain was observed over southern and southwestern parts of the country. In addition, daily maximum temperature recorded above 40 0C over the lowlands of Gambela, Benshangul-Gumuz and Afar region. In the coming ten days, western Oromia ,SNNPR and its neighboring parts of southern Oromia are expect to have near normal rainfall. Besides, few parts of southern and central Oromia, southeastern Amhara and Gambela will receive light rain. The rest parts of the country will be dominate dry and sunny weather condition.
