During January 1-31/2012, dry, sunny and windy weather condition was observed over most of the nation. On the other hand, cloudiness and light rain was experianed over parts of the country. As result, parts of eastern Tigray, eastern Amhara, western and central Oromia and SNNPR exhibited light rain. However, cool night and morning was observed over the highlands of the nation, like Adigrat, Jimma, Koffle , Haromaya, Debrebehan and Debrezeit 0.5, 0.6, -3.0, -3.0, -2,0 and -1.0 Degree Celsius respectively. In the coming month, western, central and eastern Oromia, Gambela, SNNPR, eastern Amhara and eastern Tigray will experience near normal rainfall. The rest parts of the country will observe dry weather condition.  Back to List |
