During the last month of February 2018, eastern Tigray, eastern Amhara, most parts of Oromya, Gambela as well as SNNPR received rainfall over different parts of their region. In the upcoming month of March 2018, even though it is expected to have the rain bearing meteorological system to continue over most parts of the country, sometimes the moisture incursion will decrease during this month, as a result the dry weather activity will often occur.
