The moisture performance during April had better performance over south western, eastern, southern and central river basins. Accordingly most parts of Omogibe, Rift Valley, GanaleDawa, Wabishebele, Abay, upper BaroAkobo, upper and middle ogaden, Awash and eastern half of Tekeze catchments were preformed wet to semi humid weather condition. The rest of middle and lower Tekeze, lower Awash, AfarDenakel and lower BaroAkobo basins were dominated under dry and semi dry condition. The occurrence of heavy fall was observed over most Belg rain benefiting catchments.  Back to List |
