The moisture performance of November had shown better performance over some parts of southern and pocket places of eastern catchments. Accordingly lower Genaledawa, pocket places of middle OmoGibe and middle Rift valley and the divide areas of eastern Abay and Awash catchments were preformed wet weather condition. The rest most parts of Tekeze, Abay, Afar Denakel, upper and lower Awash, lower Wabishebele, upper BaroAkobo, Ogaden and upper Omogibe catchments were dominated under dry and semi dry condition.

In the coming December the dry, sunny and windy condition will be dominated over most parts of main river basin. However in some catchments sometimes there will be a chance to get rainfall according to the forecast information. In this case upper and middle Wabishebele, southern tip of Abay, upper and middle parts of Genaledawa, OmoGibe and Rift valley, some parts of eastern Abay and upper Tekeze, Ogaden and upper and western parts of middle Awash catchments will be expected to have rainfall.
