The moisture performance of July had better performance over all Kiremt rain benefiting river basins. Accordingly most of Abay, OmoGibe, Tekeze and AfarDenakel, upper BaroAkobo, upper and middle Awash, upper Wabishebele, eastern parts of Genaledawa and upper and lower Rift valley catchments were preformed wet weather condition. In the coming month most of BaroAkobo, Abay, Tekeze, OmoGibe, upper and middle Awash, upper Wabishebele, upper and middle Rift Valley, upper Genaledawa and AfarDenakel catchments will be expected to have normal and above normal rainfall.
