Monthly Agrometeorologicals

In general, January 2016 due to the pesence of cloudy weathern condition over Hadiya, Keffa,Sheka, and Benchi-Maji received from 50-102mm amount of rainfall for 6-8 days. Also Wagimiara,north and south Wollo, south Gonder and north Shewa, Arsi, Bale, Borana and west of Guji, Sidama,north andsouth Omo, Gurage, Silte, Afar zone 2 and 3 were received 5-25 mm amount of rainfall for 5-9 days. The observed rainfall influenced on Meher crops that was not harvested. On other hand, this condition enhances pasture and drinking water for pastoralist and agro-pastoralist areas of the country.This obtained rainfall in month was taken as a good opportunity for whose accumulate water by using different mechanisms.
