The moisture performances of Bega 2016/17 were dominated under cold and dry condition over most river basins. The better moisture performance was observed during October over middle catchments of southern, south west, south eastern and western catchments. In the coming Belg season the moisture performance over most Belg benefiting catchments will gradually improved after end of March. The western and south western catchments will be expected to have normal to above normal amount of rainfall and in the rest Belg rain benefiting catchments will have normal to below normal rainfall. Increment of temperature will be observed in Belg months over most of the basins.  Back to List |
