Dekadal Agrometeorologicals

During the first dekade of August 2016, rain bearing meteorological phenomenon strengthened and brings moisture in some places of meher growing areas of the country. In line with, heavy rainfall was observed over Mankush 55.6, bullen 59.7, Aman 73.0, Kombolcha 46.5, Bati 83.5, Alemketema 47.1, Nekemet 54.8, Ankober 80.3, Debresina 57.9, Chewaki 45.7, Tarmaber 85.4, Bedele 45.5, Limogenet 53.5, Addis Ababa 47.7, Cherecher 49.5, Assosa 52.6, Arjo 48.6, Shire 56.2, Kachise 69.5, Awash Ariba 44.4, Gewan 54.4, Majet 55.5, Chefa 54.8, Layiber 49.0, Maji 70.8, Tepi 54.7, Jara 78.2, Motta 60.8 and Abomsa 79.8mm rainfall received.

In the coming seconde dekade of August 2016, rain bearing meteorological phenomenon strengthened over meher growing area of the country and brings moisture in most places of meher growing areas of the country. In line with this, central & West Tigray, Benshangul Gumiz, Gambela 1&2, west & east Gojam, north Shewa, north & south wollo, around Bahrdar, Awi, Agewu, north & south Gonder east & west Wellega, Jimma, Illubabor, east,west & north Shewa, Arsi, Bale, Addis ababa, Hadiya, Guragie, Wolayita, Kefa, Bech- maji and sidama zones zones will expected normal to above normal amount of rainfall.
