Monthly Agrometeorologicals

During the first dekad of March 2019, dry, Sunny and windy weather condition prevailed over most parts of western, south-eastern, north-eastern escarpments of the country. In relation to this situation maximum temperature increases on the area. This condition might have negative impact on the overall agricultural activities and has put some pressure on the supply of drinking water and pasture for pastoral areas. On the other hand rain bearing meteorological phenomenon gradually prevailed over most part of Belg growing areas. In line with this south-western, southern high lands, central, eastern and north-eastern Belg rain benefiting and producing areas experienced slight to heavy rainfall
