Climatic conditions were favorable for the survival and distribution of malaria over most lowland areas of Benishangul Gumuz, western, and central Oromiya, SNNPR, Gambela ,Tgiray , western Amhara, and parts of the central Rift Valley area and a few border parts of Amhara during August 2019.
