According to the Malaria Transmission principle; areas whose average temperature between 18 and 32 degree Celsius, total rainfall 80 mm and above together with a monthly average relative humidity of 60% and above were observed: Adjoining areas of eastern Amhara and western Afar, western Oromia and Southern SNNPR pocket areas of the country.
